One pub you must go to when in London is the first and only gastropub to be certified by the Soil Association: The Duke of Cambridge. This friendly place is extremely passionate about tasty, healthy food and takes sustainable business very seriously. The Duke of Cambridge serves delicious organic food and drinks carefully sourced from independent producers, while keeping their environmental impact and food miles super-low. 80% of the fresh produce comes from the Home Counties.

 

The menu (usually offering two meat, two fish and two vegetarian main course choices) changes twice daily, and dishes are created according to what is at its peak of freshness and flavour. All the food is made at the pub – from the ice cream to the bread and pickles.

The Duke of Cambridge offers organic beers and liquors as well as an extensive wine list with a superb range of organic and biodynamic wines from both Old and New Worlds.
