Disney Launch Share in Magic charity campaign. If your are looking for a fun and do-good Christmas family activity, head to a Disney Store near you. The Disney Store Share in the Magic campaign invites families to visit the store, write a letter to Santa and post it into Mickey’s Magical Postbox. For each letter to Santa posted in the magical postbox, Central London based Disney stores will donate a soft toy to a child at Great Ormond Street Hospital, with other nationwide Disney Stores donating soft toys to a variety of local children’s charities.

Postbox_002There are three ways children can get involved in the campaign. They can write their letter to Santa at home and bring it into their local store and post it into a special magical post box, they can take part in free fun letter-writing workshops in their local Disney Store or they can go online to to use the letter writing tool then either post it digitally or print it at home and bring it into their local store.

This is the fifth year that Disney Store has run the ‘Share in the Magic’ campaign to support local children’s charities, and to date, has donated over 60,000 toys to charities throughout the UK and the rest of Europe. This year, Disney Store will donate a further 15,000 soft toys.

This campaign is part of the Disney Store’s in-store activity initiative, which sees Disney Stores across the country offering families a magical and interactive experience all year round. This includes store-opening ceremonies, story-telling, art workshops, interactive magic mirrors, Disney character interaction and flight simulation. The Letter to Santa in-store experience runs to Christmas Eve.
