Having seen all the pieces up close I must admit I have fallen a bit in love.

Crafted by hand and finished using techniques passed down from generation to generation, Anaiza presents a stunning collection where elephants, lions and giraffes adorn cherished nursery storage trunks, beautiful changing tables and adorable cots. The unique and sought-after pieces embrace an innocent love of wildlife, transforming ordinary products into extraordinary heirlooms.

She set out on a personal quest to create something which stands out from the crowd after growing tired of dull and uninspiring pieces when furnishing her daughter’s nursery.

I have gotten to know Kyra as a very passionate lady with a true love for her designs. She has dedicated three years of her life to sourcing the best materials and finding the best workshops and the end result is something which will bring joy to children and their parents for years to come.

ANAIZA low-res 59 2Made by master craftsmen responsible for the restoration of the Vatican, using sustainably-sourced European alder wood, Kyra has helped bring to life the beauty and grace of the world’s most impressive animals.

Amos is a handsome wardrobe where a proud lion keeps guard at the top; Dahlia is an elegant changing table where a giraffe peers serenely above the drawers; Valentina is an oval-shaped cot with an adorable elephant at the head; and Jacinto is the most jovial piece in the collection, full of character and laughter as the storage trunk takes on the shape of a playful elephant. The tea bed with little monkeys on the bed posts is one of my personal favourites.

All pieces are handcrafted and hand painted and take between 10 and 12 weeks to create.

Prices start at £950 for the Jacinto elephant trunk and go up to £7,500 for the Amos wardrobe.
