Face facts

Until recently, I hadn’t had a facial before. The change of the season had not left my skin looking great and it was time to take action. I booked an Elemis facial at the John Lewis, Spa Pod and I wasn’t disappointed.

A facial is a procedure involving a variety of skin treatments, including: steam, exfoliation, extraction, creams, lotions, facial masks, peels, and massage. In simple terms: a facial completely blitzes your skin making it super clean and spot free. The facial exfoliation rids you of dead skin, tackling blemishes and blackheads, whilst the creams soothes and the massage makes you relax.

The only downside to this experience, was that I had booked an appointment on Oxford Street. Needless to say, I got a few funny stares as a jumped onto the tube with a bright red, polished face. Note to self: next time, book a salon not far from home.

So, get yourself a facial. A definite allmygoodness experience.
