Zoo Lates

This weekend, my friends and I had a unusual Friday evening adventure as we went along to Zoo Lates.

Every Friday night throughout June and July, London Zoo is open after hours and inviting visitors to explore the wilds of the ultimate urban jungle.

We were spoilt for choice with animal talks, improvised comedy, cabaret and drag queen performances. My favourite of which was a performance from The Dream Bears.

The night has a relaxed festival vibe with pop up bars, tasty street food such as paella, jerk chicken, hot dogs and Thai dishes. They even have┬ácarousel rides and face paint. However, don’t be distracted and forget the main attraction: the 17500 creatures great and small.

Zoo Lates runs from 6-10pm and is an over 18s only event. Book your tickets now.
