A six day programme of exciting and memorable experiences includes activities such as foraging, kayaking, wave power device making, bat detecting, bushcraft and climbing.

The camp is thought to be the only completely carbon neutral activity centre in the UK, enabling children to understand and experience a new way of living in balance with nature. Children learn about nature’s ecological systems and resources, teaching them to make a positive difference to the environment.

Camp Kernow offers a variety of eco-friendly accommodation options including low impact timber and canvas structures including yurts, tipis, geo-domes, bell tents and even an upturned boat hull. Children take turns to help with the picking, preparation and serving of food, supervised by Charlie and his team in the well-equipped field kitchen. Fruit and vegetables harvested from the food garden are supplemented with locally sourced ingredients to create delicious meals cooked over the campfire, in the clay oven or in the kitchen where children also take turns to do the washing up!

Forest school practitioners and a leading expert on wild food also make regular appearances.
