The FARA Workshop – upcycled clothes by a brilliant charity

Whilst running home from a circuit class in Kings Cross, I ran past the FARA Workshop. It’s located in the most unexpected place; at the start of Pentonville road just off Angel’s main high street.

FARA relies on generous donations to fill their shops then they create and sell unique collections created from donated clothing and fabrics.

FARA is a unique shopping experience, your chance to find hidden treasures whilst helping to sustain vitally needed programmes for disadvantaged children and young people in Romania.

The shops are part of the FARA charity, a fantastic organisation which aims to provide a loving family life for some of Romania’s most neglected and abandoned children. Based in Bucharest and two rural areas they provide family-style homes, specialist therapy programmes, special-needs education and  in-school support programmes.

Find your local FARA charity shop and get some really great purchases whist donating to as fantastic cause. You could even donate some clothes.
